In 2011, I started receiving calls from clients who were looking at agents to manage their property, complaining about the high costs, poor customer service and lack of enthusiasm towards them.
In September 2012, WestBerks Properties Ltd was formed and started trading. I initially set up the company as I had spent many years helping investors raise money to start owning buy to let property as an alternative retirement plan. I had owned several properties and for the previous 25 years and worked as a financial advisor alongside a variety of property professionals.
Starting with one property, we now fully manage many properties across Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire, with many of our clients still with us since the very beginning!
We have also been approached on many occasions to sell property for clients and in the last 5 years of doing so have sold many properties for or in excess of the marketing price. Our moto is ‘we don’t ‘just’ advertise, we sell!’ So, in 2022 we will be making this an official part of our business.
After many months of deliberation, we have also decided to rebrand the company to MELTON’S; same company, same great service and enthusiasm, and most importantly, the same personal care and attention that our clients have come to expect for the past 10 years.
